Kerry Foundation makes donation to Southern Oregon Camp Kiwanis

The Kerry Foundation has donated $1,200 to Southern Oregon Camp Kiwanis, affiliated with Klamath Falls Kiwanis, Linkville Kiwanis, and several other Southern Oregon Kiwanis clubs.  The donation will provide full or partial scholarships for children, youth and young adults with physical disabilities or mobility impairments to attend summer camp at Bridge, Oregon.  Campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of camping activities, including swimming, canoeing, archery, horseback riding, fishing, nature hikes, and campfire activities.  For more information about Southern Oregon Camp Kiwanis, contact Wendy Millard, Camp Director, at (541) 882-8078 or visit the website at www.campsock.org.  Applications are being accepted for the 2005 camping session scheduled for July 25 – 29.  Because of the generous contribution of the Kerry Foundation, applicants may request scholarships if needed.
